This Lululemon All Night Festival Bag Review is NOT sponsored and was written based on my honest opinion as a busy mom working on her fitness and updating her wardrobe!
Finding a fantastic low-maintenance purse is such a win!
As much as I love beautiful leather bags, they’re just not practical when you’re running around with small kids.

So, I tried the Lululemon Festival bag and was impressed by how well it works as a diaper bag.

Lululemon All Night Festival Bag Review
If you’re looking for a low-maintenance cross-body purse, you’ll love the All Night Festival Bag. Lululemon makes two different styles of this bag including:
Both styles are composed of the same material – the body is 100% nylon and the lining is 100% polyester.
They’re also all water-repellent and easy to clean with just a baby wipe!
For more stubborn stains, a dab (I put it on the end of a Q-tip) of micellar water is all it takes.
The exterior zippered pockets and interior compartments are great for staying organized!
It’s a great option for a diaper bag too.
Here’s what the 5L size looks like from the front.

Lululemon All Night Festival Bag 5L
This bag is comfortable and lightweight, and the strap is easily adjustable.
At the time of updating this review, it’s available in five different colors for Fall 2023:
- Allspice
- Black/Silver
- Black/Gold
- Medium Forest
I’m wearing the Chrome/Silver version from Spring 2022 below.

You can wear it over your shoulder or as a crossbody bag.
Here’s how it looks as an over-the-shoulder bag.

I like the second option since it lets me move my hands more freely, a must when you’re out with the kids!
The clip at the front of the bag is easy to pop open and closed and makes for a wide opening.
Here are all of the baby items you can fit!

I managed to get my wallet, a spare outfit (size 18 months), some diapers and wipes all into the 5L bag.
It’ll easily hold your wallet, makeup, keys, and other essentials with room to spare.

The front zippered pocket is a nice little area to stick miscellaneous things like a lip balm.

I also like to hook my keys onto the metal hooks of my bags – it saves space inside and they’re always visible so I don’t have to go digging for them later.

Lululemon All Night Festival Bag Micro 2L
The volume of the Micro Festival bag is identical to the larger-sized 2L Everywhere Belt Bag (EBB).
It’s dimensions are a little different though – the Micro Festival bag is 13cm x 5cm x 14cm (5.1″ x 2.0″ x 5.5″) while the Everywhere Belt Bag is 21cm x 5.7cm x 14.6cm (8.3″ x 2.2″ x 5.7″).
The Micro comes in the same four fall colors as the 5L Festival bag plus a beautiful rose color:
- Allspice
- Black/Silver
- Black/Gold
- Medium Forest
- Twilight Rose
You can also adjust the shoulder strap to wear it as either a purse or a belt bag.
Honestly, I find the fold-over style looks a little funny on as a belt bag though!
I prefer the zip closure of the EBB.
That said, the pop clip is the same as the 5L and it offers the same wide opening to make accessing your goods a sinch.

Lululemon Festival Bag Dupe
Amazon has two pretty good options for your festival bag dupe!
Choose this one if you want a slightly smaller bag (1.2L) and go for this one if you want a larger size.
Both have the same shape as the Lululemon bag but the smaller one has a nearly identical small zippered front pocket as the Lulu version.
The larger Festival dupe measures 12.2″ x 3.5″ x 6.3″ while Lululemon’s 5L is 11.4″ x 3.9″ x 8.3″.
The smaller Festival bag dupe has dimensions of 8.0″ x 2.0″ x 5.5″ while the Micro Festival bag measures 5.1″ x 2.0″ x 5.5″.
Lululemon Festival Bag Review: Final Thoughts
The Lululemon All Night Festival bag is an awesome choice when you’re on the go!
There are two styles to choose from in either the 2L volume size (micro) or 5L size:
All of them are made from the same 100% nylon exterior that’s easy to clean and water repellent.
This is really important to me as a busy mom whose kids often have messy hands!
But if you’re on the hunt for a small 1L waist bag, I think you’re better off getting the Everywhere Belt bag.
The simple top-zip design and square shape of the EBB are better for maximizing the use of your space than the half-circle shape and bottom zip opening of the Micro Festival bag.
That said, I do like the 5L Festival bag size and wide opening.
The bonus 3L volume of the 5L All Night Festival bag lets me pack a few extra things than my EBB does so it’s better for long days out with the kids.
If I didn’t have so many black purses with gold accents, I definitely would have chosen this color over silver!
The black and gold bag is super elegant and can be dressed up or down while the grey sage and silver/chrome colors are more limited to athletic looks.
Which color Festival bag will you get? Which size do you prefer?
