Costco Lolë Belt Bag Review

Like the comparable Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag, this one has a nice square shape to it.

Personally, I’m not a fan of the semi-circle-shaped ones (like the All Night Micro Festival Bag) that were trendy in the early 90s although I know this era has made a comeback, haha.

I really like this belt bag – and so does my husband!

And lucky for him, it’s unisex.

Here’s what it looks like in the package.

Material

The outer fabric of the bag is 100% nylon while the inner fabric is 100% polyester.

It’s stiffer than the Lululemon bag but the materials are literally the exact same!

Price

The Lolë belt bag retails for just $12.99 at Costco!

It’s an absolute steal compared to the similar Lululemon belt bag.

That said, the color selection is limited to just black while Lululemon currently has four colors to choose from:

  • Black
  • Heritage 365 Camo Starlight Multi
  • Autumn Orange
  • Pink Clay/Pink Pastel

Here’s a comparison between the Lululemon EBB and Lolë belt bag.

While the Lulu bag is a nearly perfect rectangle, the Lolë bag has a slightly smaller width at its top zippered half.

Where is it made?

Like most fashion items at Costco, this bag is made in China.

Size

This belt bag measures 19 cm x 12.7 cm x 5 cm (7.5 in x 5 in x 2 in).

It has a volume of 1L.

What does it fit?

The Lolë belt bag fits the following:

  • two size 3 diapers
  • bag of 20 wipes
  • card case
  • keys
  • 2x food pouches

Despite a good amount of kids’ stuff in here, I can also easily zip open and close the bag though.

I pack my Future Legacy bag similarly, but adjusting the zipper can be a challenge if it’s overpacked!

Compared to Everywhere Belt Bag

There are a few differences between the Lolë belt bag and the Everywhere Belt Bag (EBB).

The most notable one is the presence of a key clip inside the bag!

While this might be a nice feature for some, I personally like to clip my keys to the outside of my bags so I can save the inner compartments for diaper/wipes storage.

I like to pack light when I run errands and this style of bag is great for keeping my hands free when I’m with the kids.

The next most obvious difference is the branded Lolë strap.

I prefer clothing without logos but it’s not a deal-breaker for the incredibly affordable price point!

If you’ve ever checked out another sports or fitness apparel shop and seen Lolë’s retail cost, you already know they’re comparable to Lululemon here as well!

It’s a high-quality product made by a reputable brand.

The first time I came across Lolë was at Costco and I had no idea they were a premium brand until I saw a display at SportChek.

As far as similarities go, the material, size, and compartments are where they’re at.

The size difference between the Lolë belt bag and EBB is less than 0.5 cm in width and depth while the length is virtually the same (19 cm or 7.5 in).

Both bags have a fully extended belt strap length of 106 cm (41.7 in) and two mesh pockets on the inside of them – one divided pocket at the front and one full-length pocket at the back.

I use a card case for my IDs and cash, so I’ve never used the inner mesh pockets.

If you like being organized and carrying a lip balm, inhaler, or other small items on you, I could see these being handy though.

A visual difference you may have noticed on the inside of the Lululemon bag is the presence of a small metal logo plate.

The zippers are also different – the Lululemon has metal zippers while the Lolë belt bag has plastic ones.

How to Wear It

You can wear the Lolë belt bag a few different ways:

  • as a belt (front or back)
  • crossbody (front or back)

I prefer the crossbody style.

Here’s how it looks from the front.

And here it is worn like a crossbody backpack.

I usually wear it across the front since it gives me easy access to all of our essentials but I’ll turn it to the back when I’m carrying my baby or out for a stroll with the kids.

It’s like wearing a tiny backpack!

Costco Lolë Belt Bag Review: Final Thoughts

This belt bag is a fantastic dupe for the Everywhere Belt Bag!

The material, size, and inner compartments are nearly identical and the waist strap length is actually the same.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the same company manufactures both Lolë and Lululemon’s belt bags!

That said, if you didn’t manage to grab one at Costco (at the time of writing this, they’re nearly sold out at my local warehouse), you can get this Lolë belt bag dupe for around the same cost.
