Costco Keto Bread: Review of Carbonaut Seeded Multigrain + White Loaves
We were absolutely thrilled when we first found Carbonaut at Costco!
Before then, we were buying it at another local retailer for $10 a loaf.
You can get two loaves at Costco for $9.99.
And when they go on sale, it’s $6.99 for two!

Does Costco sell keto bread? Which ones?
Yes, you’ll find it in the bakery section NOT frozen like some other retailers have it.
At the time of writing this, Costco currently has three keto bread options in store:
- Carbonaut Seeded Multigrain Bread
- Carbonaut White Bread
- Keto 1.0 All-In Bagels
Of the three of them, the Seeded Multigrain bread is definitely our favourite but the bagels are a close second.
The white bread is fine but the flavours of the seeded bread is a lot more enjoyable.
The review below covers the seeded multigrain bread.
Costco Keto Bread Review
For a keto bread, Carbonaut is super tasty – especially the multigrain bread.
It’s also very versatile and even makes for great French toast.
Even our 1 and 4-year old enjoy it this way!

Personally, I like a toastier bread and found that this one needs to be heated a little bit more to get that typical bread texture most of us are used to.
For reference, I usually toast on the second setting of our Kitchenaid toaster but always bump it up to the third one for Carbonaut.
Unheated, you’ll find this keto bread quite floppy.
It’s denser in the middle than your usual bread and I often find that buttering it can rip a hole in the middle if you’re not delicate enough.
When it’s toasted to the right level, there’s a very small difference in texture though.

Final Thoughts: Costco Keto Bread Review
Costco is without a doubt the most cost-effective place to buy Carbonaut Seeded and Whitebread loaves – you are literally getting two loaves for the price of one at other grocery stores!
BUT if you’re after a variety of Carbonaut products, like their bagels, hot dog and hamburger buns, or pizza crust, you won’t them here.
Have you tried both the multigrain and white versions of Carbonaut? What about Keto 1.0 All-In bagels?
